Welcome to Torah and Art

In just a few days I will go on a 2-month sabbatical from my congregation to study some art history. I will explore the relationship between art and the Torah. An artist expresses a very personal point of view and set of yearnings. Yet, especially with great works, a community of voices is given birth. Such is the purpose of Torah.
